Screw Feeders
The Screw Feeder is a volumetric controller for powders, granules and flakes
with volume delivered directly proportional to screw speed.
For rectangular inlets of length greater than one diameter, a variable pitch start is provided so
that the silo feeds along its full outlet rather than above the first pitch only.
The Screw Feeder is supplied with mounting clamps and brackets. Alternatively, we can
provide a suitable mating flange on the feeder to suit existing silo outlets.
Various outlet configurations, plain end, flanged or flexible tube may be supplied.
Proprietary motors (normally 3ph 415v 50Hz) can be provided with standard DOL starters or dual
voltage.
Low voltage drivers for the electrical interlocks can be incorporated within the
starter control cabinet or within the inverter.
